Simply and absolutely loved your review of the 7D based upon using it in the real cold-climate world! I would encourage you to present it as YOU wish it to be, drawing energy from the love of enjoyment you feel when sharing your experiences with us. This way, you continue to find what pleases you most in your quest for the best tools to be used for your passion with the energy that it creates passed to us the readers in colorfully written word and dramatic photo images.

Hello,

I found this site a few weeks when the 7D came.

Your reviews are one of the best, because you show us how certain cameras are on the field, not when shooting indoor stuff or damn walls. I can shoot a wall with my phone.

Your 1D Mark IV review was one of the first, and very good.

Keep up with both, photos and testing.

For myself, i find both field reviews of Canon cameras and equipment, and information about how to use the equipment for creating better pictures very useful. I don’t care about the video part, I’ll buy a video camera if i want to shoot video’s. They should make that an option. I wouldn’t mind having that choice. 1D Mark IV DSLR and 1D Mark IV DVSLR

I’m new here and I’m very happy to have found your web site. I take pictures with the 1D Mark III and 7D. What I like is a mix of great pictures and the information how to create such pictures and maybe a bit of testing camera equipment.

There are a lot of “testing” web sites on the internet but they don’t test under “hard” conditions like you do.

So, keep up the good work!!!

Ole,

I selfishly hope you find the time to publish articles on both topics – field reviews and “how-to” techniques. Your website is the one I visit most and I believe it is fantastic. Frankly, Canon should provide you with a stipend of some kind as I do not believe they have a better spokesperson.

Thank you very much for sharing your insight on photography and equipment (and I look forward to the publication of your book in English this summer).

I think your equipment reviews are excellent but would enjoy listening to your thoughts and learning from your experience in the taking of the photo also. A mixture of both would be great, but most important is doing what you love, the fruit of that will always shine through.
